i was drawn to the ocean

20 years ago today was the Chernobyl disaster. Milena and i were talking about it last week, and about how we remember so very little of the incident, even though we were definitely old enough to remember...i guess we were shielded from a lot of it. We've both since read up on it a bit, and for today's word of the day i give you:

dosimeter - any device used to measure an individual's exposure to a hazardous environment, particularly when the hazard is cumulative over long intervals of time, or one's lifetime

i was BAD last night--i went to bed with a sink full of dirty dishes. But i did them a few minutes ago. i was looking out the window while i did the dishes, and i saw this car stopped at the light--it was a Ford station wagon with really dark tinted windows and a custom paint job. Somebody has been watching too much Pimp My Ride.
