i was drawn to the ocean

i originally wrote this this afternoon, but the foundation workers accidentally hit the main power line to our house (and fried the transformer for ours plus three other houses) and the house's power went entirely out.  But here's what i had written, thanks to LJ saving a draft:



OMG, jackhammer.  It sounds and feels like they are jackhammering my whole house into little pieces.  It's a bit terrifying.
